Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if my car has a keyless entry system?
A: Do you have any keyless entry remotes?   If you do, or if you have had one before on your car, then you know your car has a keyless entry system installed on it.
Also, you can see our Blog/Post dedicated to this question here:

How do I know if my car equipped with a keyless entry remote system?

Q: Do you know why my remote just died?
A: Maybe the battery died.  Check/Change the battery in your remote.  Did you drop it or did it get wet recently?  Car remotes are fragile.  They can break internally easily if dropped.

Q: How do I find out the Year of my car?
A: Look in the driver’s side door jam.  There will be a sticker there with some information about your vehicle there.  Also, if you have the paperwork from when you bought your car, it will have the year of the car on it.  It will also tell you on your insurance card or your registration.  Lastly, you can always have us look up the year, by calling us with your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

Q: I am not sure what Model I have?   (Example: EX, LX, SE, Limited, etc.)
A: Look at the paperwork from when you purchased your vehicle.  It should state the Model and trim.  Call the dealer and give them your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), they will be able to tell you as well.  Look at the back of your car, truck, van or SUV.  Are there letters or numbers on there somewhere?
