All Buick LaCrosse (with or without) remote start have to be programmed by your GM dealership or a local automotive locksmith. It takes 5 minutes to program the remote or less. Your local dealership may or may not charge for training your vehicle to recognize the remote. Please ask them to do it free of charge, as a courtesy service, as it only take couple of minutes for the technician to program this remote.
