1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 remotes come with do it yourself programming instructions. Please find those instructions below
Ignition OFF.
Using fused jumper wire jump connectors 4 and 8 in DLC.
Close all doors.
Turn ignition ON.
Doors will lock.
Hold lock and unlock buttons on remote transmitter for 30 seconds.
Doors will lock and unlock.
Repeat for extra remotes.
Remove jumper wire.
A maximum of four remote transmitters can be programmed.
2000 and up Buick LeSabre remotes must be programmed by a pro technician using scanning tool.
