You can program your 2007, 2008 or 2009 Chevrolet Equinox keyless entry remote fob yourself at home.
Here are the do it yourself instruction:
1. Switch ignition ON
2. Continually press the vehicle information button until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY is displayed.
3. Press set/reset button until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed
4. Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK on the remote transmitter simultaneously for 15 seconds or until acoustic signal is emitted (indicating remote is programmed).
5. Repeat step 5 for any other remotes you have.
6. Switch ignition OFF to exit programming mode.
