You can program your 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 Honda Accord (including EX, SE, 2 door coupe and 4 door sedan) remote yourself at home with these simple instructions.
If you have the integrated remote head key, you will still need to take the key to be cut and have transponder chip programmed to start the car. Cutting and programming of the KEY portion must be done by a Honda Dealer or an automotive locksmith.

*** YOU MUST BE USING A WORKING/PROGRAMMED KEY THAT WILL START YOUR CAR TO DO THIS PROCEDURE
1. Turn ignition to ON
2. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
3. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to OFF
4. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to ON
5. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
6. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to OFF
7. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to ON
8. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
9. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to OFF
10. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn ignition switch to ON
11. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button (with the transmitter pointed at the instrument panel)
12. Confirm that you hear the sound of the door lock and unlock actuators. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button again
13. Within 15 seconds, aim the transmitters (up to 3) whose codes you want to store at the instrument panel and press lock or unlock button. Confirm that you hear the sound of the door lock and unlock actuators after each transmitter code is stored. NOTE: you must do all this for all the transmitters.
14. Turn the ignition to OFF and remove the key
15. Confirm operation of the new code on each transmitter
