This is how to program your 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Chevy Silverado Keyless entry remote fob yourself without going to the dealer.
There is even a video tutorial below to show you how easy it is done.
Switch ignition ON.
Repeatedly press vehicle information button Fig. 2 [A] until PRESS TO RELEARN REMOTE KEY is displayed.
Press set/reset button Fig. 2 [B] until REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE is displayed.
Programming mode activated, proceed as follows:
Press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on first remote transmitter simultaneously for 15 seconds.
Wait for acoustic signal (indicates correct programming).
Repeat above procedure to program remaining remote transmitters.
Switch ignition OFF to exit programming mode.
Remote transmitters can also be programmed using diagnostic equipment.
NOTE: A maximum of 8 remote transmitters can be programmed.

When I press the check button to relearn remote key it will blink ,then show back up saying the same thing . Help?
There may be a glitch in the system… try rebooting the truck… disconnect one of the trucks battery cables for about 20 minutes, reconnect and try programming again.
I tried that and it didn’t work. .
If you are holding down the button and not getting “remote key learning active” on the DIC, you might have to take the vehicle and remote to a GM dealer or locksmith for programming.
Unfortunately there is not an alternative programming procedure.
I had it hooked up to a diagnostic computer. I was told it was talking to all the computers except the module on the driver side rear by the seat belt . I was told it was that it was the body control module the number on that was omron 25808837.. will the bcm possible make it not work
