How to program your 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997 Ford Explorer remote keyless entry fob alarm by yourself at home without going to the dealer.


Obtain all remote transmitters
Access programming connector, located behind the glove box and taped to the wiring harness
Switch ignition ON
Momentarily jump programming connector
*Doors should lock and unlock
Remove jump wire from connector
Press any button on first remote transmitter
*doors should lock and unlock
Press any button on additional transmitter
*doors should lock and unlock
(repeat this step for up to 4 transmitters)
** If doors do not lock and unlock.. press button on transmitter up to 3 times
Switch ignition OFF
*Doors should lock and unlock to exit programming mode.
