    This doesn’t work. Subaru wants $125 or more to do this. They must be working for the pharmacuticals.

      Try rebooting the car first… disconnect one of the battery cables on the car for about 20 mins, reconnect and then try the programming again. There may be alternate instructions as well for the year/model you have. Don’t go to the dealer.. find an automotive locksmith in your area that might be able to help you.
